The team at Rolls Royce have once again upped the ante for superluxury automobiles with their Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection. The automobiles will be painted in a special ‘Maggiore Blue’ to commemorate the waterspeed world record set by a Rolls-powered speedboat on Lake Maggiore in 1937. Each car is delicately finished with high touch details like hand painted coachlines and Bluebird motifs, and hand-finished brushed steel. The bespoke coupé will make its first appearance at the Concorso d’Eleganza at the Villa D’Este classic car show in Italy next week. With only 35 being produced, it’s sure to be a hot item amongst the supercar set.
